Annual General Meeting

22 November: Sydney

Venue Tattersalls Club, 181 Elizabeth st, Sydney

Professor Andrew Zele, Queensland University of Technology, gave a presentation at the Quarterly General Meeting. Members are referred to two papers on melanopsin that might be of interest.

The Feigl Zele (2014) paper reviews melapsonin function in humans.

The CIE (2015) paper is a technical note on the physiological effects of light mediated by melanopsin written for governments and lighting professionals. This CIE (2015) note provides a starting point for standards bodies to introduce ways to measure melanopsin (note that there other views on how melanopsin can be measured that were not considered in CIE 2015).
